Our piano teacher Letizia offers piano lessons in all styles of music for ages 4 and above, from beginner to advanced levels. This piano teacher has a Master of Music degree and a wealth of experience both teaching and performing on piano. Letizia has been teaching piano lessons since 2013. In her career, Letizia has performed as a solo pianist in numerous concerts and international festivals across North America and Europe, including featured recitals at the Kennedy Centre International Piano Festival and finalist appearances at the Washington International Piano Competition. She has presented graduate recitals at venues such as the Oregon Centre of Arts Recital Hall, offering programs that span classical masterworks and contemporary repertoire. Letizia has served as an accompanist for choirs, vocalists, instrumentalists, and various other performers in concerts, competitions, and recitals across Canada, Europe, and the United States. Her adaptable style, sensitivity, and professionalism make her a valued partner in diverse musical settings. As a piano teacher, Letizia has coached students for competitions and advanced examinations, and has earned distinctions such as the University of British Colombia Faculty of Arts Graduate Award and the Piano Foundation Scholarship. She maintains an active music career as both an educator and performer internationally. Currently, her doctoral dissertation at the University of British Columbia explores how tools like imagery, storytelling, and emotional or cultural associations beyond the notes help students connect more deeply with music and develop expressive performance skills. Letizia views music education as a lifelong journey rather than a final destination, guiding her students to grow, explore, and enjoy every stage of their piano path.
