May 16 Jess: Piano Teacher in Roncesvalles, M6P, Toronto

Our piano teacher Jess, in Roncesvalles, offers piano lessons in all styles of music for ages 3 and above, from beginner to advanced levels. This piano teacher has a Bachelor of Performing Arts degree and a wealth of experience both teaching and performing on piano. Jess has been teaching piano lessons since 2008. In their career, primarily as an indie artist, Jess has performed solo piano extensively, ranging from open mics to cabaret nights. Jess has performed in rock band and choir settings since graduating musical theatre school. During their formal studies, Jess first got a taste of accompanying, while helping out their peers perfect their vocal repertoire. Jess has also accompanied their younger sister for her flute exams. In addition to being a musician of thirty years, Jess has also performed musical theatre professionally for over a decade and acted professionally for film for more than eight years. They made their composing debut producing their original musical NeverWonder, which premiered in the 2022 Toronto Fringe Festival, receiving great praise for the production. Jess brings a passion for music enrichment, in an encouraging and accessible manner to students of all abilities, that helps students to grow, feel empowered, and thrive while learning the piano.
