Our piano teacher Snow offers piano lessons in all styles of music for ages 5 and above, from beginner to advanced. This piano teacher is pursuing a Master of Music in Composition degree, expected to complete by 2028, and brings experience in performing piano, along with a unique and creative teaching approach shaped by her background as a composer. Snow has been teaching piano lessons since 2021. She has performed as a solo pianist in academic and performance settings, and has participated in various piano competitions throughout her musical training. During her studies at Capilano University, she won first prize in a scholarship competition, reflecting her strong foundation in piano performance. She has performed piano in small and medium-sized chamber ensemble settings, collaborating closely with other musicians. She has also performed in interdisciplinary projects involving dancers and visual artists, giving her a broad and creative perspective on music making beyond traditional piano performance. In addition to her piano background, she is a composer and sound artist, which gives her a well-rounded approach to teaching. As an educator, she helps students build strong technical skills while also developing their musical understanding, imagination, and listening skills. Her lessons encourage students not only to play the correct notes, but also to understand the music, express themselves, and enjoy the learning process. Snow strives to create supportive and engaging lessons that help students build strong piano fundamentals, grow in confidence, and develop a lasting love and understanding of music.
