Our piano teacher Yi-Lun, in North York, offers piano lessons in all styles of music for ages 5 and above, from beginner to advanced. This piano teacher has a won multiple awards in piano competitions and has a wealth of experience both teaching and performing on piano. Yi-Lun has been teaching piano lessons since 2022. This piano teacher has received international recognition for his piano talents, including Second Prize at the Taiwan Music Competition. He has worked under renowned professors and musicians, particularly during his time studying at the Royal Conservatory of Music. Yi-Lun has performed extensively, including in two solo piano recitals. He also serves as the pianist for the Toronto-based jazz band Reply All and as the collaborative pianist for the NeoVoce Philharmonic Choir. He music interests span a wide repertoire, including classical, jazz, and European musical traditions. In addition to performing, Yi-Lun is active in composition, arrangement, and film scoring and is well-versed in music theory. He composed and recorded soundtracks for films including Two Persons and The Cactus. As a pop composer, he has produced and released singles, including the Mandopop songs “I Was Late to Your World” and “Frozen Old Film Roll.” As a piano teacher, he has worked with many children in a private studio setting. Yi-Lun is a very patient teacher who seeks to understand his piano students and speak to them in a way they will understand and enjoy.
