As a performer, Gabriel is hailed for his electrifying and powerful performances and his colorful interpretations of music that marry complex sound and clarity in technique. In addition to his deep knowledge of the classical repertoire, he is an avid performer of contemporary music, both popular and experimental. Several composers have written pieces dedicated to him. Gabriel has performed concertos with symphony orchestras both in Canada and the United States, and is a prizewinner of numerous competitions and scholarships. He is also a sought-after collaborative pianist, frequently accompanying instrumentalists and singers for various performances, auditions, examinations, and competitions. As a music educator, he always keeps a positive atmosphere in piano lessons and seeks to bring out the best in all of his students.
