Our piano teacher Joel offers piano lessons in all styles of music for ages 5 and above, from beginner to advanced. This piano teacher has a Bachelor of Music degree and a wealth of experience both teaching and performing on piano. Joel has been teaching piano lessons since 2012. In his career, Joel has performed numerous solo recitals, including many at McMaster University. These performances have included recitals, private celebrations, and events. Joel has also performed with orchestras, including his debut and other performances with the McMaster Symphony Orchestra. He has worked closely with a variety of ensembles for both rehearsals and performances, such as the Hamilton Philharmonic Youth Orchestra. He continues to be an advocate for their success and hopes to perform with them in years to come. This piano teacher has developed a holistic teaching approach from his experiences as a musician. Joel believes in the importance of mechanics as a foundation for comfort and confidence in playing the piano.
