Our piano teacher Aquila offers classical and pop/rock piano lessons for ages 6 and above, for beginners only. This piano teacher is pursuing a Bachelor of Music Education in Classical Piano degree, expected to complete by 2026, and has a variety of experience in piano and choral performance. Aquila has been teaching piano lessons since 2020. As a solo pianist, he has performed in recitals displaying a full repertoire of classical music. He was also selected for an honors recital from a masterclass competition in Germany. Aquila has performed with a scramble jazz band, a church choir, and a worship band. He is also a talented accompanist, performing with other instrumentalists and at events. He has also performed extensively in choirs, including with the Macmillan Singers at the University of Toronto and the International Honor Choir. In addition to piano and vocals, he is also an experienced saxophonist, having played in many jazz recitals. Aquila’s extensive musical background in piano and performance allows him to offer a multifaceted and diverse learning experience catered to young students, with a focus on music theory and performance confidence.
