Our piano teacher, Harry, in Palmerston offers jazz and pop/rock/contemporary piano lessons for ages six and above, from beginner to intermediate levels. This piano teacher has a Bachelor of Music degree and a wealth of experience both teaching and performing. He has been teaching piano lessons since 2014. Harry’s formative musical experiences were in the folk tradition. He then developed an interest in jazz and improvised music. Harry moved to Toronto in 2016 to study jazz performance at the University of Toronto and in 2018, he released his first debut EP. This piano teacher is the recipient of multiple grants, awards, and scholarships. In addition to leading an active performing career, Harry has developed a program for open improvisation which he has delivered to public schools across Canada. Harry believes that music should be connected to the concept of play at every stage in one’s development. To achieve this, when teaching his piano students, this piano teacher strives to create an open and comfortable environment conducive to learning.
