Our piano teacher Emily, offers piano lessons in all styles of music for ages 4 and above, from beginner to advanced. This piano teacher has a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Music and a wealth of experience both teaching and performing on piano. Emily has been teaching piano lessons since 2016. This piano teacher has performed for many local events, special occasions like weddings and funerals, as well as in hospitals, retirement homes, churches, and showcases in the greater Toronto area. He has performed recitals and concerts as well as in competitions, and also has experience in street performance. He has worked with orchestras, local choirs like YUGC, and has been a piano accompanist for students in university as well as for school bands, quartets, ensembles, and choirs. He has accompanied guitarists, singers, pianists, and other soloists for improvisational performances as well as formal occasions like competitions and college auditions. This piano teacher has written a beginner piano pedagogy book, and has released several recordings of his own compositions. This instructor uses a dynamic approach to musical education formed by infusing Jim Kwik's methodology with traditional musical methodology and personal experience. Students have enjoyed this piano teacher’s dynamic, encouraging, engaging, and clear approach to classes. They enjoy the relatable connections built with Emily and his dedicated ongoing support during their education even when outside the classrooms. This piano teacher has the ability to accurately identify where each student is currently at, find out their bigger goals, their needs, and accurately set them up for success for each class.
