Our piano teacher Cate, in Downtown Toronto, offers classical piano lessons for ages 5 and above, from beginner to very advanced. This piano teacher has a Master of Music degree and a wealth of experience both teaching and performing on piano. Cate has been teaching piano lessons since 2014. In her career, Cate has performed numerous piano performances at renowned venues, including Carnegie Hall, Roy O. Disney Hall, and Newman Recital Hall. Her piano talents have also taken her to a number of festivals and competitions, where she has been recognized for her skill in piano performance. Notably, she won the Seoul Y Classical Music Festival, the American Protege International Piano Competition, and the Sigma Alpha Iota Scholarship Competition. Cate is also a collaborative musician who has performed in many ensemble settings, including with the University of Tennessee Orchestra, the Cadek Orchestra, and the WildBeast Chamber. As a piano teacher, she is well versed in piano pedagogy method, including RCM, Alferd, and Suzuki. With her breath of professional experience in classical music, Cate offers engaging and inspiring piano lessons, catered to each of her student’s goals and aspirations in music.
