He is an experienced pianist, who has studied music formally in Canada, Italy, and the United Kingdom. In addition to his two music degrees, he has received the highest certification in piano performance from the Royal Conservatory of Music. As a teacher, he has helped students to prepare for examinations and festivals, often accompanying them in their performances. Hinners has taught many students of various ages, and he believes that anyone can learn to play the piano and love music, regardless of their age or experience.
