Our piano teacher Valerie offers piano lessons in all styles of music for ages 5 and above, from beginner to advanced. This piano teacher has a Bachelor of Piano Performance degree and a wealth of experience both teaching and performing on piano. Valerie has been teaching piano lessons since 2015. In her career, she has performed on piano extensively in concerts, events, and private homes. She also has experience performing collaboratively on piano and keyboard, including in orchestras, jazz bands, and ensembles. She has also performed her own compositions. As a piano accompanist, she has performed with students sitting for advanced exams, both in live and recorded exams. Valerie is also a talented composer, and has composed pieces and songs of her own, including pop and jazz arrangements. She is adept at coming up with creative methods and technology usage for innovative ways of teaching. Valerie uses some traditional pedagogical approach, but also remains open and adaptable to other styles of teaching so as to be support each student.
