Piano Teachers Connect Inc.’s Piano Practise Studios

Payments, Rescheduling, and Cancellations:

  • All payments are non-refundable.

  • Studio bookings can be rescheduled or cancelled up to 48 hours in advance of the booking time via the link in your booking confirmation email. Bookings cancelled more than 48 hours in advance will be reimbursed with a credit to use towards future bookings. No refunds will be provided for cancelled or missed bookings with less than 48 hours’ notice.

  • In the case that Piano Teachers Connect needs to cancel your booking for unforeseen reasons, a credit or refund will be provided.

  • If you overrun your time, your payment method or account credit will be charged for an additional full hour.

Using our Studios:

  • No food or drink except closed containers of water are allowed in the studios.

  • There is no smoking (tobacco, marjiuana, vaping, etc.) permitted anywhere in the building or around the front entrance of the building.

  • Please remove wet or dirty shoes and boots upon entering the studios. (Clean shoes are allowed.)

  • Ensure that your hands are clean and dry after washing or using hand sanitizer. Touching the piano with damp or sticky hands from hand sanitizer leaves moisture and residue on the piano which causes damage, and is not allowed.

  • Do not place anything on the pianos aside from music on the music desk.

  • Do not spray, wipe, or sanitize the piano as moisture causes damage to the instrument.

  • Do not unplug or obstruct the view of the security cameras.

  • The studios are not soundproof and are not ideal for professional recording. If other studios are in use during your booking time, you will hear piano sound from the other rooms. For optimal quiet, consider booking multiple studios at the same time.

  • Animals are not allowed with the exception of certified service animals. 

  • The studios are climate controlled. If the sound of the humidifier or dehumidifier interferes with practicing it may be turned off temporarily and must be turned back on when leaving.

  • Do not leave instruments or valuables unattended. Piano Teachers Connect is not responsible for lost or stolen items.

  • Report any problems with the studios or the instruments to info@pianoteachersconnect.com.

  • The studio is to be used solely for music practice. No objectionable/illegal activity is allowed. Piano Teachers Connect reserves the right to use video recording equipment to monitor activity in the studios. 

  • The studios must be left in an appropriate "neutral state" at the end of a practice or rehearsal. Please return all items to their original places, switch off lights, and fully close the piano. The renter is responsible for general clean up and proper disposal of all items they bring to the premises. Large or unreasonable messes, as determined by Piano Teachers Connect, may result in additional cleaning fees. 

  • Piano Teachers Connect reserves the right to deny rental at any time for any reason.

Indemnity:

  • The renter shall be responsible for the actions and/or omissions of the renter. The renter agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Piano Teachers Connect Inc., and its affiliates, directors, officers, agents, employees, legal representatives, and permitted successors and assigns against any and all claims, losses, damages, liabilities, penalties, punitive damages, expenses, reasonable legal fees and costs of any kind or amount whatsoever, which result from or arise out of any act or omission of the renter, without limitation as to time. 

  • Piano Teachers Connect Inc. shall not be responsible, and accepts no liability, for any losses, damages, costs, expenses, actions, or liability whatsoever, arising out of or in any way connected with the services provided.

By using Piano Teachers Connect Inc.’s Piano Practise Studios at 66 Gerrard St E, Suite 304, Toronto, ON M5B 2M2, the user acknowledges and agrees to the terms and conditions listed above.
