Our piano teacher, Cameron, in Oakwood Village, offers piano lessons in jazz and pop/rock/contemporary styles for ages 5 and above, from beginner to advanced. This piano teacher has a Master of Music degree, and a wealth of experience both teaching and performing on piano. He has been teaching piano lessons since 2011. This piano teacher has composed music and performed as a pianist extensively at music festivals throughout the southeastern United States, and has had the pleasure of opening up for Lupe Fiasco, CeeLo Green, Nappy Roots, J-Swiss, Wordsworth, and many other prominent hip-hop artists. He has also led and played in his own jazz trios. He has been a resident jazz pianist at many different establishments in the greater Wilmington City Area and after his move to Toronto, he now plays with many different bands and works as an audio engineer. Having performed and played a wide variety of musical genres such as jazz, hip-hop, reggae, funk, rock, blues, EDM, folk, and almost everything in between, this piano teacher has had a broad musical career and continues to perform throughout Canada and the United States. He has performed alongside prominent jazz musicians such as Herman Burney, Delfeayo Marsalis, Joe Chambers, and Matthew White, to name a few, and he was the co-founder of two well-known jazz/hip-hop groups in North Carolina. Cameron was consistently awarded Superior ratings at the NCMTA piano competitions throughout high school and university. This piano teacher is also an accomplished composer and producer, creating music for film, television, and radio, as well as recently scoring an upcoming Netflix production. Having taught electronic music production and piano for many years, this piano teacher prides himself in being an effective and personable teacher who strives to push every student to realize their musical potential.

Cameron also teaches Audio Production using the Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) Ableton. He has used Ableton for production, mastering, and electronic music composition for over 10 years, and composed, mixed, and mastered his latest audiovisual project/EP release, Lossy Matte, using Ableton exclusively. Cameron was awarded a Masters of Arts from the University of Toronto in Music Technology and Digital Media, where he honed his mastery of audio recording, studio orchestration, and composition.
