Our piano teacher Colin, in Downtown Toronto, offers piano lessons in all styles of music for ages 6 and above, from beginner to intermediate levels. This piano teacher has a PhD in Music Composition and extensive experience teaching, performing, and composing on piano. Colin has been teaching piano lessons since 2011. As a pianist, he has performed classical, early, experimental, and improvised music across North America and Europe. Colin has taught piano at the University at Buffalo and has worked as keyboardist and music director at multiple churches. Colin is an internationally-renowned composer, whose works have been performed extensively at universities, festivals, and concerts by notable ensembles, including the symphony orchestras of Detroit and Ann Arbor, the MidAmerican Center for Contemporary Music, the New England Conservatory, and the Center for Computer Research in Music and Acoustics at Stanford University. His piano compositions have been recognized worldwide with numerous grants, awards, and honors. These significant qualifications and in-depth experience enable Colin to provide expert instruction, tailored to each student's goals, background, and learning style.
